Bill Blair
Alien Actor Extraordinaire
Bill was born and raised in Kent, Ohio. He graduated Kent University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in speech-telecommunications. After college he concentrated full-time on his music career, and played in several bands to include Climax who had the hit Precious And Few in 1972.

His filmography includes; 10- ST:DS-9 episodes, 15-Babylon5 episodes, 2-Babylon5 movies, 3-Sliders episodes, 2-Alien Nation episodes, and many TV Movies to include; The Puppet Masters (1994). Bill has also done commercials for 7UP/Dr. Pepper.

More recently Bill could be seen in the FINAL episode of DS-9 where he played not one... but 4 aliens.

Paula Crist

Paula has quite an extensive history in the industry as a stunt woman. Her credits include; ST: The Motion Picture, Planet of the Apes, V, and Logan's Run (just to name a few). She has also been an entertainer on cruise ships. Paula has attended many conventions over the years as a fan and somehow always ended up the entertainer, but she made her debut at Praxis 98 as a Celebrity Guest . She is well know in fandom as "Qeldas" and also her alter ego... Maxine of Hollyweird..

At Praxis98, Paula was put on trial for "Serial Buns Squeezing" and it was no ORDINARY trial. As the key witness in the trial exclaimed, "I was there in the dealer's room, minin' my own business, when she poped out from behind the Kira Nireeees statue lookin' like a peacock.. I hollar'd ETHEL.. it was too late.. I'd done been squoozed!"

Bill Foy

It is a pleasure to have Bill back with us.
Bill (like Paula) has quite an impressive history in stage and screen. Bill's credits include; Law and Order, Karate Kid II, Home Alone2, Jungle to Jungle (plus many many others). Bill was also a student of Mark Lenard and has offered to bring that training and knowledge to Praxis by presenting an actor's workshop during the weekend. This photo was taken at Praxis98 where Bill modeled Mark's Klingon uniform (from ST: The Motion Picture) for the charity auction.

Carl Talliaferro

Once again the nagus returns. Carl is a professional make-up artist with a resume bigger than the Nagus's ears! Like Paula, Carl has attended many conventions over the years as a fan and ended up working his magic on attendee's, celebrities, and promoters alike. Praxis 98 was his first appearance as a guest celebrity and we are PROUD to have him back again this year!

Andrew Hassfurther

Andrew's forte' of expertise lies in MOLDmaking. Recently Andrew is trying his hand at sandblasting as well and plans to "create" a very special item which will be included in the charity auction.
